Chautauqua Lecture Series
Week Five: The Vote and Democracy

We will take a day trip to Chautauqua Institution to attend the morning lecture (10:45 a.m.) of Jelani Cobb. A staff writer at The New Yorker and a Professor of Journalism at Columbia University, Mr. Cobb writes on topics of race, history, justice, politics, and democracy. Cost: $65 includes entrance fee, lecture, and a buffet lunch at the Athenaeum Hotel with fellow League members from Chautauqua and Cattaraugus/Allegany Counties.

Reservations can be made online below, or by calling or emailing the League office.

We are car pooling, so please indicate if you want to drive, to ride, or will be meeting us there (going on your own).
