At a June 11 press conference the League
unveiled its proposal for campaign finance reform, the Campaign Finance
Reform, Enforcement, Transparency and Accountability Act of 2008, in
response to the failure of both Governor Patterson and the legislature
to engage in bipartisan negotiations for meaningful campaign finance
